Sponsors

The U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon depends on the generosity of sponsors to ensure the success of our events and our competing teams. Sponsoring organizations participate in the future of high-performance design and directly impact tomorrow's clean energy workforce.
Solar Decathlon sponsors tap into a wide range of benefits, including recruiting the newest top talent, brand recognition and education!
Sponsors of the Solar Decathlon support student teams' activities, including the Solar Decathlon Competition Events, held each April at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado. The 2025 Competition Event will be held April 25 to 27, 2025. Sponsors allow us to host robust in-person/virtual events and promotional activities that greatly benefit participating students, bringing substantial positive exposure to sponsors.
Our sponsors associate their brands with one of the most prominent energy efficiency and renewable energy programs in the nation. Their support creates opportunities to educate and inspire the future clean energy workforce.
The Solar Decathlon Sponsorship Opportunities Package summarizes these opportunities, and the organizers are excited to share this once-in-a-lifetime experience with your organization. The Solar Decathlon sponsorship program has closed for the 2025 cycle. We encourage you to reach out to us to learn more about future sponsorship opportunities at SolarDecathlon@nrel.gov.
