Solar Decathlon 2011

Florida International University

The PerFORM[D]ance House, Florida International University's entry to the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2011, was re-assembled and installed on the university's Modesto A. Maidique Campus in Miami. There, it supports the Office of University Sustainability, from which all of the university's sustainability initiatives are launched. It is the first LEED Platinum-rated building on campus.

Capitalizing on the team's success in 2011, Florida International University collaborated with Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, for Solar Decathlon China 2013.
