New York City College of Technology

New York City College of Technology's DURA house placed 13th overall at the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2015. After the competition, the DURA (Diverse, Urban, Resilient, and Adaptable) house was disassembled and returned to the New York City College of Technology. The Berthoud Habitat for Humanity bought the DURA house, and it was transported from California to Denver in January 2018.

"They are going to start the construction process closer to the summer," Elena from the NYCCT team said. "We hope that students from New York City College will participate in the construction, as well. We are so happy that after these two years the house has found the right place."
