Solar Decathlon Sponsors
Be a Solar Decathlon sponsor, and tap into a wide range of benefits, including recruiting the newest top talent, brand recognition and education!
The U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon depends on the generosity of sponsors to ensure the success of our events and our competing teams. Sponsoring organizations participate in the future of high-performance design and directly impact tomorrow's clean energy workforce.
Sponsors of the Solar Decathlon support student teams' activities, including the Solar Decathlon Competition Events, which are held each April at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado. The 2023 Solar Decathlon Competition Event will be held April 20-23, 2023. Sponsors allow us to host robust in-person/virtual events and promotional activities that greatly benefit participating students, bringing substantial positive exposure to sponsors.
Our sponsors associate their brands with one of the most prominent energy efficiency and renewable energy programs in the nation. Your support creates opportunities to educate and inspire the future clean energy workforce. Solar Decathlon sponsorship is based on our two-year event cycle, where Design Challenge and Build Challenge teams come together each April at the Competition Event (two Design Challenge events, and one Build Challenge event), though we are flexible with your organization's needs.
The Solar Decathlon Sponsorship Opportunities Package summarizes these opportunities, and the organizers are excited to share this once-in-a-lifetime experience with your organization. Contact us to learn more about the best fit for your organization SolarDecathlon@nrel.gov.
